Xilinx K26 Carrier board
It is an 8 layer design with the same dimensions as the FPGA SOM (Xilinx K26).
It features various peripherals which are on the original carrier card provided with the Xilinx Kria development kit, but are now made compact into a smaller footprint (3x).
- Gigabit Ethernet.
- 4 USB 3.1 gen 1 connectors with the use of FPC connector.
- RTC battery connector.
- Hardware watchdog timer.
A high-accuracy battery-powered temperature logger made for cooled environments to provide the user with live temperature data.
This provides the user with the necessary data to provide health guideline organisations with information. Other benefits of using such a sensor, is the use of alarms which notice the user to take action on temperature rises.
The temperature logger provides an accuracy of ±0.2 °C over the whole range (-40 °C to 90 °C) with the use of the internal temperature sensor. There can also be external temperature sensors added to provide more extreme temperatures.
We have implemented two ways of adding external temperature sensors to our product:
- PT100 / PT1000.
- standard I2C temperature sensor.
Other nice-to-have features of these product are:
- Reed switch can be added to provide door opening counter for alarm and logging.
- Internal and external antenna which the user can choose from.
The product is made to be as compact, 9cm x 3cm x 5cm. While providing live data for over a year using a LPWAN protocol
